Who we are

What we collect

• Account data: email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), sign-in dates.
• Profile content you publish: name, roles, biography, links, social accounts, avatar, cover, link thumbnails and gallery photos.
• Membership and payments: subscription status, dates, amounts and payment-provider references. We do not store card numbers.
• Photo Verified applications: a verification photo, the code and date, and review decisions. Visible only to authorised reviewers.
• Reports from visitors: the reason and optional description. We store only a one-way hashed network identifier to prevent abuse, never the visitor's name.
• Security data: short-lived rate-limit counters to stop automated abuse.

Photos

Photos are re-encoded in your browser before upload, which removes hidden metadata such as GPS location. Draft photos are private. Only photos in a published profile are shown publicly. Verification photos are stored privately, shown to reviewers through short-lived links, and deleted automatically after the retention period.

Why we use it

To provide your profile, run your membership, review Photo Verified applications, handle reports, keep the service secure and meet legal obligations. We process your data on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (providing your profile and membership), our legitimate interests (keeping the service secure and preventing abuse), and legal obligations (such as accounting records).

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary storage for sign-in, security and remembering your cookie choice. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers. You can review choices any time via "Cookie Preferences".

Service providers

Hosting, database, file storage and authentication are provided by our cloud infrastructure provider. A payment provider will be listed here once selected. Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, this takes place only under the safeguards required by data-protection law.

Retention

Profile content is kept until you delete it or your account. Verification photos are deleted automatically 30 days after review. Billing records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law, separated from your personal content.

Your rights

You can export your data and delete your account from Dashboard → Privacy & Data. You may also have rights to access, correct, restrict or object, and to complain to the data-protection supervisory authority in your EU member state.
